Consistent IGU performance depends on many small decisions being controlled—from incoming materials and spacer preparation to sealant application, gas filling, testing and production records. CSi’s training is designed around the actual manufacturing environment in which those decisions are made.
Practical
Delivered on the factory floor using the manufacturer’s own production environment.
Relevant
Connects AS 4666 requirements with materials, processes, testing and records.
Preventive
Helps teams identify variation early and strengthen day-to-day control.
Training where the work happens
The programme is delivered onsite using the manufacturer’s equipment, materials and production arrangements. This allows the team to relate the requirements of AS 4666:2012, including Amendment No. 1 (2018), to real production tasks rather than discussing them only in a classroom.
Operators, supervisors and quality personnel can examine how responsibilities and records connect across the production process.
Focus on controls that influence performance
Training can address checks on glass and spacer materials, desiccant handling, sealant preparation and application, gas-fill processes, dew-point testing and the records needed to demonstrate controlled production.
The objective is to help the team recognise variation early, understand why each control matters and respond before a production issue becomes repeated rework or a customer problem.
Support a stronger certification culture
Training does not replace independent product assessment, testing or certification. It can, however, strengthen the knowledge and discipline that support consistent production and useful objective evidence.
Organisations considering PAS-Mark certification for safety glazing or insulating glass units can contact CSi to discuss the proposed product scope, applicable requirements and the documents needed to begin.
