During May 16 to 19, 2007, the 18th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Australian glass industry participation at the show was evident from the number of well know faces of our clientele spotted throughout the five halls the exhibition was housed within. 

As can be seen from the picture above, Ms. Azma Khan, left and Mr. Haitao Du, centre, spent time meeting with the clients of CSi who are using the Product Certification trademark logo, The PAS-Mark, as a means of identifying their safety glazing products as conforming to;

• AS/NZS 2080:2006 Safety glazing for land vehicles.

• AS/NZS 2208:1996 Safety glazing materials in buildings.

The displays featured fully assembled machinery, where potential buyers could analyze the potential of the machinery to meet their needs and wants whilst asking technical and pricing questions from the representatives on hand.

Next year the show moves to Beijing, which should also be an exciting time in the city as it prepares for the forthcoming opening of the Olympic Games in 2008.
